Testimonials
"Thank you for helping me find a great rehab. I am really glad I called. Privacy was a big concern for me. Alan was very knowledgeable about all the top-tier rehabs and helped me narrow it down to the ones where I could be sure my privacy would be respected. "

"I just want to say thank you. You found me a rehab center where for the first time I was able to get the healing I needed in a quiet, private space without constant attention. All I could hear when I woke up in the morning was the sound of the ocean and the birds. It was exactly the kind of space I needed to heal."

Dual Diagnosis
If only diagnosis was as easy as one specific problem – drug abuse, alcohol, etc. That way, everyone’s lives might be a lot easier. But the fact is many people who are addicted to one substance are addicted to two. Or three. Or more. Establishing an accurate diagnosis in patients using both alcohol and drugs is known as dual diagnosis treatment, or symptoms caused by Alcohol and Other Drugs (AODs).
AOD also covers situations where the alcohol or drug abuse is abetted by psychological problems such as schizophrenia or borderline personality disorder.
Since there is no single combination of dual disorders; proper diagnosis of an AOD situation is only possible when the person seeking help is completely honest with the counselors who want to help.
Patients with similar combinations of dual disorders are often encountered in certain treatment settings. The drug and alcohol treatment centers that work with luxurydrugrehab.com have seen it all. But we frequently work with people who are trying to come off of both drugs and alcohol at the same time.
Staff counselors at our facilities are well aware of the problems AOD patients have. They are specially trained to work through the many puzzling behaviors and feelings that you may have – since they may be the major obstacles that keep you from getting better.
Dual diagnosis patients are especially susceptible to both types of drug and alcohol dependence:
Psychological dependence centers on the user’s need of a drug in order to function, or feel well enough to function.
Physical dependence refers to the issues of actual dependence, tolerance, abstinence of an AOD user. Type, amount, and intensity of the addiction can vary from patient to patient.
If you are suffering from a dual addiction, don’t wait any longer to get help. Call LuxuryDrugRehab.com now. We’ll put you in touch with dual diagnosis centers that can help. But only if you call.
